http://t1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcQimgbSQ5Q6U4nsoZv_fExISARJD9JFP6r5pzweQrd_PeOBJf-NvwKing Boko Palace was a wonderful building, which was built during the reign of Rakai Panangkaran, sailendra descendant of the dynasty. Building the first name Abhayagiri Vihara (monastery, which means peaceful hill) was built in the solitude of purpose and focus on the spiritual life. For this building, you will feel peace and be able to see the city of Yogyakarta and Prambanan Temple Mount Merapi in the background.

This palace is 196 meters above sea level. Building area as large as the 250 000 m2, divided into four, namely the central, western, southeastern and eastern Europe. The middle section is the main gate, a square, burning of the Temple, pool, terrace and a square dance hall. At the same time, includes the southeastern part of the room, at first, three temples, ponds and complexity of the princess. Caves, Buddha statue, and the pond is to the east, while the western part consists of hills beyond.

If you enter the gate of the palace, you will be directly guided to the middle. Two high doors will welcome you. The first gate has three inputs, while the other five. If you look in detail, you can read "Panabwara" written on the first gate. Based on the registration Wanu Tengah III, the written word in Rakai Panabwara (descendant of Rakai Panangkaran), who took over the castle. The intention of carving his name on the door to legitimate authority, to give the "power" at the door to look more radiant and provide evidence that the building was the main building.

About 45 meters away from another gate, you see the temple of white stones, so that was called Batu Putih Candi, or the temple of white stones.

Around the square is the Temple of combustion. The temple is square (26 meters x 26 meters) with two terraces. The role of the church is burning the body as the name implies. About 10 meters from the burning of the temple, a terrace and a sacred pond.

A mysterious well, we'll see if you move to the south of the temple of combustion. As legend has it was probably named Amerta Mantana means holy water treated with charms. Currently, well water Amerta are still used. Legend has it that the water brings joy to everyone who uses it. Hindus use it in Tawur Agung ceremony, a day before Nyepi. Use water to the ceremony is supposed to support the achievement of the goal of self-cleaning and return to the earth and its contents to its original harmony. YogYES suggest you visit the temple of Prambanan one day before Nyepi day to see the process of ceremony.

On the eastern side of the palace, you'll see two caves, a large pool of 20 meters x 50 meters and the image of Buddha sitting in silence. These two caves were formed with stones of sediment. The upper cave is called Gua Lanang (caveman) and the lower cave is called Gua Wadon (Cave of women). Gua opposite the Lanang, there is a pond and three effigies. Based on research, the effigy Aksobya known as one of the pantheons of the Buddha.

Although it was built by a Buddhist Hindu that there are elements in it. This can be seen by the presence of Lingga and Yoni, the statue of Ganesh and plate with gold writing "About Rudra is swaha Namah" on it as a form of worship to Rudra as the other name Shiva. Hindu elements showed religious tolerance, which is reflected in the architectural works. In fact, as Rakai Panangkaran embraced Buddhism lived side by side with the Hindus.

Not many know that this building is a testament to the triumph of the initial country Sumatra. Balaputradewa once you leave the building before the start of Sumatra, when he struck the Pikatan Rakai. Balaputradewa rebelled because they felt to be a second person on the Old Kingdom because of Rakai Mataram Pikatan marriage Pramudhawardani (Balaputradewa sister). After his defeat, and fled to Sumatra, has become the king of Sriwijaya Kingdom.

As a historic building, King Boko Palace is different from other states. Most buildings are shaped like a temple or shrine, while this place - as the name implies - shows the characteristics of a home. This may be known to the studs and ceilings, even if we can see the remains of stone building. Investigate the palace in the details and you will know more. One is the beautiful scenery as the sun sets in the west. An American tourist, said: "This is the most beautiful sunsets in the world."
