The Hall of Independence

Inside the cup or "cutting" part of the Hall of the monument of Independence (Indonesian: Ruang Kemerdekaan) form one. The room is accessible by a spiral staircase to the north and south gates. It contains the symbols of the independence of Indonesia and the nation, including the original text of the proclamation of independence in a glass case, the Arms of Indonesia, and a map of the Indonesian archipelago in gold.
